Tug o’ war
There seems to be a tug of war going on in the US. On one end of the rope, there are the heavy-weight food giants, stuffing their products as full of calories as they can. Tonight’s offering was a pizza with a crust filled with three cheeses as opposed to just the one – I can’t even remember the company offering it: Pizza Hut I think. On the other end of the rope, you’ve got the slimming products and weight-loss programmes trying to get that weight off.
Instead of producing a nation of people of average weight, people seem to opt for one or the other. So there are a lot of people at either extreme of the scale.
Tonight’s American Idol shook things up a little after last week’s synopsis. (For those of you who may be confused, the Idol concept was invented in the UK (with Pop Idol) before being exported to the US. The same is true of Millionaire, btw.) Bo, Carrie and Vonzell share the driving seat, with Scott a close fourth and Anthony going home tomorrow night.
April was our biggest month to date, with an average of 579 hits per day. Alicia Hempleman-Adams was the most popular search term guiding people to the site (eleven) followed by Sudoku. (These mentions will no doubt elevate their position for May too.) Greenland and the Slovak Republic are new entries in the country list.
Good to see that Brooklyn Beckham has shown a recent interest in the site, having submitted a few comments of late.

Apologies – I was wrong. Scott was the loser tonight. However Anthony won’t survive another week…
