OK, slightly cynical - but alternatively you could either think of using MindMap or a 3 x 3 matrix (low / med / high) with the axes being time (along the bottom - all new risks are at the right hand side) and probability, with the size of the appropriate bubble being impact/severity. But you know what your current team are like with new ideas - you'll have to write a 10 page requirements doc and then a 100 page user guide to get it into use!
