The following stories are not newsworthy:
- The oldest person in the world has died
- Someone’s found a foodstuff that bears a resemblance to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

Anything to do with house prices
Any story containing hedgehogs
Any story that expresses surprise at corruption, politics, borrowing, economy or the climate.
Any ‘and me story’ (i.e. someone gets stabbed, so all the stabbing stories come out)
Anything with statistics in it
Anything printed in a newspaper
Anything that comes out of a press office
Anything that comes out of a marketing department
Anything presented by an American
Anything that takes more than 2 minutes to state.
